1. One day, Jack’s parents told him that his grandpa would retire after working for forty years.

2. Jack said in surprise that he was only seven, so it meant Grandpa had been working for a really long time.

3. His parents said that was why they were going to have a surprise party for him.

4. Jack loved his Grandpa and wanted to do something special for him.

5. He remembered the business card his grandpa had given him two years before.
