Chapter 11：An Unexpected Meeting Autumn came, and the students of Lowood School began a new term.
We continued our strict daily routines, and every day was filled with challenges.
I started studying even harder, aiming to do my best. One day, I received an order from the headmaster to meet a distinguished visitor.
I didn't know what it was about, but I went to meet him on time.
When I walked into the room, I saw someone I recognized. It was my distant relative – Mr. John Reed.
He looked very pleased, and seemed eager to see me.
I was surprised by his sudden arrival, but my heart was filled with joy. Mr. John Reed told me that he was arranging something important for me.
He said he would help me secure a new opportunity.
I felt very grateful, though I was somewhat puzzled. In the following days, I had more conversations with Mr. John Reed.
He introduced me to his family and his business.
His life stood in sharp contrast to my simple life at Lowood. Although we were very different, I was still glad to meet him.
His visit made me feel warm, like the return of long-lost family affection.
