生活在洛伍德学校变得更加艰难。
Life at Lowood School became even harder.
冬天特别冷，许多孩子生病了。
The winter was especially cold, and many children fell ill.

I started to feel unwell too.

One day, Helen was taken to the infirmary.

The teacher gave us a lot of homework.

I worked hard to complete all the assignments.

Although I was very tired, I kept going.
有时候，老师会惩罚那些犯错的学生。
Sometimes, the teacher would punish students who made mistakes.
我看到海伦忍受了许多惩罚，但她从不抱怨。
I saw Helen endure many punishments, but she never complained.
她总是微笑着，安静地接受一切。
She always smiled and quietly accepted everything.
冬天终于过去了，春天来临。
Winter finally passed, and spring arrived.
天气变暖了，学校里的孩子们也渐渐恢复了健康。
The weather became warmer, and the children at school began to recover their health.
我也感觉好多了。
I also started feeling better.
生活慢慢变得好一些。
Life slowly became a little better.
我开始更加努力学习，取得了更好的成绩。
I started studying harder and achieved better results.
我知道，这个学校教给我的不仅是知识，还有坚韧。
I knew that this school taught me not only knowledge but also resilience.
