Chapter 2. Aunt Marge's Big Mistake

第二天早晨，哈利坐下来吃早餐。弗农姨父和达力坐在厨房的桌子旁吃饭，边看电视。佩妮姨妈正在洗碗。

The next morning, Harry sits down for breakfast. Uncle Vernon and Dudley are eating at the kitchen table, watching TV. Aunt Petunia is washing dishes.

电视屏幕上正在播报一则新闻：“公众需要知道，布莱克已经逃跑了。他持有武器，非常危险。”逃犯的照片出现了。他头发又长又脏，看起来像个疯子。

There is a news report on the screen. It is important for the public to know that Black has escaped. He has a weapon and is very dangerous. A picture of the escaped prisoner appears. He has long, dirty hair and looks crazy.

“什么？他从哪儿逃出去的？”弗农姨父喊道，“他现在可能正在朝这里来呢！”弗农姨父接着说，“对付像布莱克这样的罪犯，最好的办法就是绞死他们。”他的脸因为愤怒变得通红。

"What? Where did he escape from," shouts Uncle Vernon. "He could be coming here right now." "The best way to deal with criminals like Black," Uncle Vernon continues, "is to hang them." His face turns red with anger.

他看了看手表：“我得走了，佩妮。玛姬的火车十点到。”哈利震惊了：“玛姬姨妈？”他问，“她要来这里？”

He looks at his watch. "I have to go, Petunia. Marge's train arrives at ten." Harry is shocked. "Aunt Marge?" he asks. "She's coming here?"

玛姬姨妈是弗农姨父的妹妹。她对哈利很刻薄，哈利讨厌她。从哈利来到德思礼家之后，她就一直对他很恶劣。她住在乡下，有很多狗。

Aunt Marge is Uncle Vernon's sister. She is very cruel to Harry, and he hates her. She has been mean to him since Harry came to live with the Dursleys. She lives in the country with many dogs.

“玛姬会在这里住一星期，”弗农姨父瞪着哈利说。“在她来之前，你得明白几件事。第一，”弗农姨父咆哮道，“你得对玛姬姨妈有礼貌。”

"Marge will stay here for a week," says Uncle Vernon, glaring at Harry. "Before she arrives, you need to understand something. First," Uncle Vernon growls, "you will be polite to Aunt Marge."

"Fine," Harry replies angrily. "I will if she is polite to me." "Second," Uncle Vernon continues, "Marge doesn't know about your abnormality, and she won't find out. Do you understand?"
