1. Belle decided to stay in the castle instead of her father. 2. The Beast let Maurice go, and Belle became the new guest in the castle. 3. At first, Belle felt scared and lonely. 4. The castle was large and dark, with many strange rooms. 5. But soon, she found that the castle wasn’t completely frightening. 6. The furniture could talk and had their own personalities! 7. Mrs. Potts was warm and kind, and her son Chip was very sweet. 8. Lumière the candelabra was funny, and Cogsworth the clock was strict and always grumbling. 9. They all welcomed Belle, prepared dinner for her, and even sang to cheer her up. 10. The Beast was rude and didn’t know how to express himself. 11. He ordered Belle to have dinner with him, but she refused. 12. He roared in anger, but he also felt sad and disappointed. 13. With the servants’ help, Belle explored the castle and promised not to enter the West Tower. 14. But she was too curious and sneaked in anyway. 15. She saw a torn portrait of a prince and a mysterious rose floating under a glass dome. 16. As she got closer, the Beast angrily forced her to leave. 17. Terrified, Belle ran away from the castle on horseback. 18. In the forest, she was surrounded by a pack of wolves. 19. The Beast came to save her, even though he got hurt. 20. Belle brought him back to the castle and cared for his wounds. |
