Chapter 9: The Royal Ball

Cinderella's pumpkin carriage stopped in front of the palace,

where a magnificent ball was in full swing in the glittering royal hall.

Many young ladies in beautiful gowns were dancing at the ball,

but the Prince appeared a bit disinterested.

Suddenly, Cinderella appeared at the entrance of the hall.

She walked in gracefully, immediately attracting everyone's attention.

The Prince's gaze was instantly fixed on this mysterious and beautiful girl,

and he could not look away.

He stepped forward, bowed deeply, and asked gently, 'May I have this dance?'

Cinderella gave a sweet smile and softly placed her hand in the Prince's hand,

and the two of them walked to the center of the ballroom together.

Melodious music began to play, and the Prince and Cinderella started to dance.

Their movements were light and graceful, as if they were a pair born to dance together.

The guests around them were captivated by this handsome and beautiful pair,

and they all gave space to admire the couple gliding across the floor.

Cinderella felt as if she were in a dream; she had never been this happy in her life.

but with the elegant attire and makeup, she had no clue who it was.

Cinderella and the Prince were lost in each other's eyes,

completely forgetting the passage of time.

Just as they danced together so tenderly,

the high clock tower rang out the sound of midnight,

striking the first 'dong' into the night.
