She had to clean the rooms, cook breakfast, and wash clothes. 6. 还要伺候继母和继姐们的各种需要。
And attend to all sorts of needs of her stepmother and stepsisters. 7. 继母高高在上地坐在椅子里。
Her stepmother sat high in her chair. 8. 慢悠悠地给灰姑娘布置更多的任务。
Leisurely assigning Cinderella even more tasks. 9. 继母假装温和地说：“亲爱的，今天你把整座房子的地板擦一遍。”
The stepmother said in a falsely gentle voice, 'Dear, today please scrub all the floors of the house.' 10. “再把所有窗户都擦干净吧。”
'And clean all the windows as well.' 11. 灰姑娘恭敬地点头。
Cinderella obediently nodded. 12. 尽管任务繁重，她没有一句抱怨。
