第6章：意外的礼物

Chapter 6: An Unexpected Gift

1. 就在灰姑娘快要放弃的时候，

Just when Cinderella was about to give up,

2. 一阵欢快的叫声从窗台传来：“灰姑娘，快看看这里！”

a chorus of cheerful chattering came from the windowsill: 'Cinderella, look over here!'

Cinderella could hardly believe her eyes;

she was so excited that tears of joy sparkled in them.

17. 她连声对小伙伴们道谢，

She thanked her little friends again and again,

grateful that they had given her such a wonderful surprise gift.

Cinderella quickly changed into the altered gown,

making her look as charming as a princess in a fairy tale.
