Chapter 8: The Fat Lady Disappears

哈利最喜欢的课程是黑魔法防御术。在学完了博格特之后，他们开始学习红帽妖。

Defense Against the Dark Arts is Harry's favorite class. After learning about boggarts, they study red caps.

红帽妖是一种小型生物，它们喜欢出现在暴力事件发生的地方，比如城堡地牢或战场。

Red caps are small creatures that live where violence happens, in castle dungeons, on battlefields.

接下来他们又学习了河童。河童生活在水里，长得像长有鳞片的猴子。

After red caps, they study kappas. Kaas are creatures that live in water. They look like monkeys with scales.

它们会杀死进入它们水域游泳的人。不过哈利依然讨厌魔药课。

They kill people who swim in the water where they live, but Harry still hates potion's class.

斯内普每一节课都变得对他更刻薄。他对纳威·隆巴顿也非常苛刻。

Snape is meaner and meaner to him every class. Snape is also very mean to Neville Longbottom.

斯内普听说了纳威的博格特变成了他自己，而且被纳威变成了穿祖母衣服的样子。

Snape heard about Neville and his Boggart. Neville's Boggart looked like Snape, but Neville made the Snape Boggart dress like his grandmother.

斯内普对此非常不满，开始像恶霸一样欺负纳威。哈利不喜欢看到纳威这么痛苦。

Snape did not like that at all. Snape is acting like a bully to Neville. Harry does not like seeing Neville suffer so much.

哈利也讨厌特里劳妮教授的占卜课，他觉得占卜是骗人的。他不认为自己能从茶叶中学到任何东西。

And Harry hates Professor Trelawney's Divination class, he thinks divination is fake. He does not think he will learn anything from tea leaves.

而且每次特里劳妮看着他都会哭。但班上其他学生却很喜欢她，还常常对哈利说他快要死了似的。

And every time Trelawney looks at Harry, she cries. But other students in the class love her, and they talk to Harry like he is going to die soon.
