Chapter 3: The Little Prince’s Journey

1. 小王子离开了 B612 星球，开始了他的旅行。

The Little Prince left his planet B612 and began his journey.

2. 他来到第一个星球，那里住着一位国王。

He came to the first planet, where a King lived.

3. 国王喜欢发号施令，却没有真正的臣民。

The King liked to give orders, but he had no real subjects.

4. 小王子觉得奇怪，便继续上路。

The Little Prince found it strange and went on his way.

5. 他来到第二个星球，遇见了一个爱慕虚荣的人。

On the second planet, he met a vain man.

6. 这个人总想别人为他鼓掌。

This man always wanted others to clap for him.

7. 小王子觉得无聊，离开了那里。

The Little Prince felt bored and left.

8. 第三个星球上有一个酒鬼。

On the third planet, there was a drunkard.

9. 酒鬼喝酒是为了忘记自己喝酒的羞耻。

The drunkard drank to forget the shame of drinking.

10. 小王子觉得他很可怜，叹了口气继续走。

The Little Prince thought he was pitiful and sighed as he went on.

11. 在第四个星球上，小王子遇见了点灯人。

On the fourth planet, the Little Prince met a lamplighter.

12. 点灯人认真工作，不停地点亮和熄灭路灯。

The lamplighter worked hard, lighting and putting out the lamp again and again.

13. 小王子很喜欢他，因为他做的事有意义。

The Little Prince liked him, because his work seemed meaningful.

14. 在第五个星球上，小王子遇到了一位地理学家。

On the fifth planet, the Little Prince met a geographer.

15. 地理学家只关心大山和大海，却不知道花的存在。

The geographer cared only about mountains and seas, but did not know about flowers.

16. 小王子想起了他的玫瑰，心里难过极了。

The Little Prince remembered his rose and felt very sad.

17. 地理学家建议他去看看地球。

The geographer advised him to visit Earth.

18. 就这样，小王子来到了地球。

And so, the Little Prince arrived on Earth.
