第四章：森林里的奥萝拉

Chapter 4: Aurora in the Forest

1. 十六年来，没有人知道公主的下落。

For sixteen years, no one knew where the princess was.

2. 只有在深山中的一间小木屋里，三位好心的仙女小心翼翼地实行着她们的计划。

Only in a little cottage deep in the mountains, three kind fairies carefully carried out their plan.

3. 她们把公主当作自己的女儿。

They raised the princess as their own daughter.

4. 她们给她取名“蔷薇玫瑰”。

They named her “Briar Rose.”

5. 今天是小公主十六岁的生日。

Today was the princess’s sixteenth birthday.

6. 仙女们打算举办一个生日晚会，给她一个意外的惊喜。

The fairies planned to hold a birthday party to give her a wonderful surprise.

7. 她们商量着要给公主制作一件华丽的公主裙。

They discussed making a splendid princess dress for her.

8. 就在这时，公主走了进来，问她们三个人在干什么。

Just then, the princess came in and asked what they were doing.

9. 三位仙女结结巴巴地说，她们在想让她去采草莓。

The three fairies stammered and said they wanted her to pick strawberries.

10. 她们边说边把公主推了出去。

As they spoke, they gently pushed the princess out the door.

11. 公主说：“可是昨天才采过草莓啊！”

The princess said, “But we picked strawberries just yesterday!”

12. 仙女们忙说：“还不够，我们需要很多很多。”

The fairies quickly replied, “It’s not enough, we need many, many more.”

13. “别着急回来，别走太远，别和陌生人讲话。”

“Don’t hurry back, don’t go too far, and don’t talk to strangers.”

14. 公主走后，仙女们紧忙准备蛋糕。

After the princess left, the fairies hurried to prepare a cake.

15. 她们还做了一件真正的公主裙。

They also made a real princess dress.
