第六章：王子的抉择

Chapter 6: The Prince’s Choice

1. 太阳下山，国王等了一天，还是没有看到人影。

As the sun set, the king waited all day, but still saw no one arrive.

2. 哈伯和国王一起庆祝菲力和公主的婚事。

Hubert and the king celebrated the marriage between Prince Phillip and the princess.

3. 王子菲力回来了。

Prince Phillip returned.

4. 他告诉自己的父亲：“我见到一个姑娘，仿佛在梦里见过她。”

He told his father, “I met a girl, and it felt as if I had seen her in a dream.”

5. “我要娶她。我不知道她是谁，也许只是个农家姑娘。”

“I want to marry her. I don’t know who she is, perhaps just a peasant girl.”

6. 老国王听了大吼道：“你在开玩笑吗？”

The old king shouted, “Are you joking?”

7. “不，你不能这么对我！”

“No, you cannot do this to me!”

8. “为了一个无名女子放弃王位，放弃你的国家？”

“To give up your throne and your kingdom for an unknown girl?”

9. “我不准你这样做！”

“I forbid you to do this!”

10. “你是王子，你只能娶公主为妻！”

“You are a prince, and you can only marry a princess!”

11. 王子没有听从，骑马而去，要去迎娶他所爱的姑娘。

But the prince did not obey. He rode away to marry the girl he loved.

12. 老国王十分沮丧，不知道该如何向史蒂芬国王交代。

The old king was very upset and did not know how to explain this to King Stefan.
