Chapter 5 · Losing His Mother

冬天到了，森林里覆盖着厚厚的白雪。

Winter came, and the forest was covered in deep snow.

斑比跟着妈妈在雪地里寻找食物。

Bambi followed his mother, searching for food in the snow.

雪很冷，但他们依然继续走着。

The snow was cold, but they kept walking.

鹿妈妈低下头，找到一些嫩草。

Bambi’s mother lowered her head and found some tender grass.

她说：“快吃吧，斑比。”

She said, “Eat quickly, Bambi.”

斑比开心地嚼着青草。

Bambi happily chewed the grass.

忽然，鹿妈妈抬起头，耳朵竖了起来。

Suddenly, his mother lifted her head, her ears alert.

她紧张地说：“斑比，快跑！”

She said urgently, “Bambi, run!”

枪声在森林里响起。

A gunshot rang out in the forest.

斑比拼命地往树林里跑。

Bambi ran desperately into the woods.

他气喘吁吁地停下来，四处张望。

Panting, he stopped and looked around.

“妈妈！”斑比大声喊。

“Mother!” Bambi cried out.

但是，妈妈没有回答。

But his mother did not answer.

森林里只有风声呼啸。

There was only the sound of the wind in the forest.

斑比又喊：“妈妈！你在哪里？”

Bambi called again, “Mother! Where are you?”

雪地空荡荡的，他孤零零地站着。

The snowy meadow was empty, and he stood all alone.

斑比的眼里充满了恐惧和疑惑。

Bambi’s eyes were filled with fear and confusion.

他哭着跑向更深的树林。

Crying, he ran deeper into the woods.

这时，一个高大的身影走了过来。

Then, a tall figure came walking toward him.

那是森林之王，他低沉地说：“斑比，你的妈妈已经走了。”

It was the Great Prince of the Forest, who said in a deep voice, “Bambi, your mother is gone.”
