在遥远的北方，有一个美丽的王国，叫阿伦黛尔。

Far away in the north, there was a beautiful kingdom called Arendelle.

王国里住着两位公主。
Two princesses lived in the kingdom.

姐姐叫艾莎，妹妹叫安娜。
The older sister was Elsa, and the younger one was Anna.

她们从小就相亲相爱。
They loved each other deeply since they were little.

艾莎有一种神奇的力量。
Elsa had a magical power.

她能用手创造冰雪。
She could create snow and ice with her hands.

她和安娜常常在大厅里堆雪人、滑冰、玩耍。
She and Anna often built snowmen, skated, and played in the hall.

“看，安娜！”艾莎说，“我们一起做个雪人吧！”
“Look, Anna!” said Elsa. “Let’s build a snowman!”

她挥动双手，雪花在空中闪烁。
She waved her hands, and snowflakes sparkled in the air.

两人笑着在冰雪中跳舞。
They laughed and danced in the snow.

但是有一次，艾莎不小心释放出太多力量。
But one time, Elsa used too much power by accident.

冰雪打中了安娜的头。
The ice hit Anna’s head.

安娜昏倒在地。
Anna fell to the ground.

艾莎害怕极了。
Elsa was terrified.

国王和王后来到大厅，把安娜抱起来。
The king and queen ran in and carried Anna.

他们带她去找山里的巨石精灵。
They took her to the mountain trolls.

巨石精灵用魔法治好了安娜。
The trolls used magic to heal Anna.

但他们抹去了安娜对魔法的记忆。
But they erased Anna’s memory of the magic.

从那天起，艾莎被关在自己的房间。
From that day, Elsa stayed locked in her room.

她害怕再伤害别人。
She was afraid of hurting anyone again.

安娜常常敲门：“艾莎，我们一起玩吧！”
Anna often knocked on the door: “Elsa, do you want to build a snowman?”

但艾莎没有回答。
But Elsa never answered.

时间一点一点过去。
Time slowly passed.

两姐妹渐渐长大。
The two sisters grew up.

安娜依然乐观开朗。
Anna was still cheerful and full of life.

艾莎变得安静而孤单。
Elsa became quiet and lonely.

冬天过去，春天来了，城堡的大门仍然紧闭。
Winter passed and spring came, but the castle gates stayed closed.

她们都在等待那一天——
They both waited for the day—

王国的大门重新打开的那一天。
The day when the gates of Arendelle would finally open again.
