The Sisters ReuniteOlaf led Anna and Kristoff up the North Mountain. At last, they saw the shining ice castle. "Wow!" said Anna in awe. "That must be Elsa’s work," said Kristoff. Olaf ran ahead excitedly. "Elsa! It’s me, Olaf!" he shouted. Anna pushed open the big doors. The hall glowed with blue light. Elsa walked down the ice stairs, graceful and calm. When she saw her sister, Elsa felt both happy and nervous. "Anna! What are you doing here?" "I came to bring you home!" Elsa shook her head. "I can’t. I can’t control my powers." Anna smiled. "Yes, you can! We’ll figure it out together!" Elsa walked to the window and looked at the snowy peaks. "The world is afraid of me." "Then let me help you," said Anna, reaching out her hand. But fear filled Elsa’s heart again. She feared her powers would hurt her sister again. "Please, go away," she whispered. "I’m not leaving," said Anna firmly. Elsa lost control, and the ice burst out again. A blast of ice hit Anna’s chest. Anna fell in pain. Elsa was horrified. "I didn’t mean to!" she cried. Kristoff rushed in and carried Anna. "We have to go!" he said. Elsa watched them leave with tears in her eyes. She stood alone again in her icy palace. Outside, the snowstorm grew stronger. Her fear made the snow rage out of control. Elsa’s magic swept across the valley until soldiers arrived. They burst into the castle and surrounded Elsa. "Stop! Don’t come any closer!" Elsa shouted. But the soldiers fired their ice hooks. Elsa was captured and chained in ice cuffs. Sadness filled her eyes. She didn’t know her sister’s heart was slowly turning to ice. |
