The Power of True Love

Kristoff carried Anna and ran down the mountain.

Anna’s face grew paler and paler.

“You have to see the trolls! They can help you!” said Kristoff.

They reached the valley, and the trolls appeared.

Kristoff looked down and thought of someone.

“Please, let me go!” Elsa cried.

Just then, Hans arrived.

“Your sister Anna needs true love’s kiss,” he said.

Elsa looked at him in fear.

“Please, save her.”

But Hans gave a cold smile.

“She’s as good as dead, and you’ll be remembered as a monster.”

He blew out the candles and left the cell.

Elsa broke free from her icy chains and escaped.

Outside, the blizzard grew stronger.

Anna was growing weaker and weaker.

Kristoff hurried back to find her.

Olaf stayed with her.

“He’s out there looking for you,” said Olaf. “We have to get you to him!”

“But I’m freezing,” whispered Anna.

“Love will melt a frozen heart,” said Olaf softly.

They opened the door, and the wind howled.

In the distance, Kristoff was running toward her.

At the same time, Hans raised his sword to strike Elsa.

Elsa closed her eyes, waiting for her fate.

Anna saw it happen.

She used her last strength to run.

At the very moment the sword was falling,

Anna stepped in front of Elsa.

The sword struck the ice with a sharp crack.

Anna turned completely to ice.

Elsa fell to her knees and cried.

“Anna, no! Please don’t go!”

She hugged her frozen sister.

Her tears fell on Anna’s shoulder.

At that moment, the ice began to melt.

Anna moved her fingers.

She slowly came back to life.

Elsa gasped, “Anna!”

Anna smiled, “An act of true love doesn’t have to be romantic.”

“It’s when you put someone else before yourself.”

Elsa hugged her tightly, tears mixed with joy.

She lifted her hands, and sunlight poured down.

The ice melted, and spring returned to the kingdom.

Elsa opened the gates, welcoming warmth and hope.

Anna laughed, “I knew you could do it.”
