Chapter Ten: The Legend of the Jungle
Years passed, and the jungle remained full of life. Tarzan and Jane protected their green kingdom together. Jane wore simple clothes and could climb like Tarzan. She built a new little home in the trees. Professor Porter stayed to study plants and animals. He often said, “This is better than any classroom in London!” The gorillas and humans became friends. Baby gorillas played around Jane’s skirt, their laughter echoing through the trees. Tarzan swung through the vines with Jane, showing her the secrets of the jungle. At night, they sat high in the canopy, watching the stars. “Look, that star shines like your eyes,” Tarzan said with a smile. Jane laughed and leaned on his shoulder. Tarzan became the leader of the gorillas and guardian of the jungle. He taught his family unity, courage, and peace. Whenever danger came, he was always the first to stand up. All the animals of the jungle called him “King” with respect. Kala smiled quietly, knowing he had fulfilled his destiny. Jane said, “You’re no longer just part of the jungle—you are the jungle.” Tarzan listened to the wind and smiled. “We all are.” From then on, the story of the King of the Jungle was whispered among the leaves.
