The Mouse Family Looking for a Son-in-Law Once upon a time, a mouse family lived in a small burrow beneath a large tree, enjoying a quiet and simple life. Father Mouse and Mother Mouse loved their daughter, Little Mouse Girl, deeply. They hoped she would marry someone truly strong, reliable, and worthy of her. One day, Father Mouse looked up and saw the sun shining brilliantly in the sky. He exclaimed, “The sun brightens everything on earth. He must be the most powerful in the world!” So Father Mouse and Mother Mouse decided to ask the Sun to marry their daughter. “Dear Sun, would you be willing to become our son-in-law?” they asked respectfully. The Sun smiled and replied, “Although I am bright, whenever the clouds appear, they can easily cover me.” “The Cloud is stronger than I am.” So the two mouse parents went to find the Cloud. “Mr. Cloud, would you like to marry our daughter?” Cloud gently shook his head. “I can block the sun, but once the wind blows, I am scattered immediately.” “The Wind is far more powerful than I am.” So Father Mouse and Mother Mouse hurried to find the Wind. “Mr. Wind, you possess tremendous strength. Please consider marrying our daughter!” The Wind replied, “I can scatter the clouds, but when I encounter a sturdy wall, I cannot overcome it.” “The Wall is stronger than I am.” So the mouse parents went to visit the Wall. “Mr. Wall, would you be willing to become our son-in-law?” The Wall laughed and said, “I can withstand wind and rain, but I cannot stop you mice.” “With just a few bites, you can create holes in me easily.” “The ones who are truly strong and most suitable for your daughter are mice like you.” Hearing this, Father Mouse and Mother Mouse suddenly understood. They said, “So the best son-in-law has been among the mice all along!” Soon, they found a hardworking and brave young male mouse for their daughter. On the day of the wedding, little lanterns were lit, tiny drums were played, and all the mice came to celebrate. They danced, sang, and filled the burrow with laughter and joy. From then on, Little Mouse Girl and her young husband lived a happy and peaceful life. The Mouse Family Looking for a Son-in-Law Once upon a time, a mouse family lived in a small burrow beneath a big tree. Father Mouse and Mother Mouse adored their daughter, Little Mouse Girl. They hoped that one day she could marry someone truly “strong and outstanding.” One day, Father Mouse looked up and saw the bright sun in the sky. He exclaimed, “The sun lights up the whole world.
