Chapter One: The Circle of Life

The first rays of morning sunlight spread across the African savanna.

Life awoke, and all the animals on the plains lifted their heads.

Elephants trumpeted, giraffes stretched tall, and antelopes ran through the golden light.

They were all heading in one direction—Pride Rock.

On that great rock stood King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi, waiting proudly.

Today was the day their child, baby Simba, would be presented.

Rafiki, the wise mandrill, climbed to the top of the rock carrying Mufasa’s blessing.

He broke open a gourd, dipped his finger in the juice, and marked Simba’s forehead with red paint.

Then he lifted the tiny lion cub high into the sky.

Sunlight fell on Simba, lighting up his soft golden fur.

The animals below cheered as they saw the new prince.

Birds circled above, elephants raised their trunks, trumpeting with joy.

Antelopes, zebras, and rhinos all bowed in respect.

Mufasa watched proudly, his eyes full of love.

He knew this child would inherit everything—the Pride Lands.

Sarabi leaned close beside him, her eyes shining with tears.

Rafiki whispered in the wind, “The Circle of Life.”

The sky was blue, the sun bright, and all life was connected in this moment.

Baby Simba opened his eyes in his parents’ arms.

And so, the Circle of Life began.
