第二章：战鼓敲响 Chapter Two: The War Drums Sound
夜色中，万里长城的烽火突然被点燃。
In the darkness of night, the beacon fire on the Great Wall suddenly burst into flame. 匈奴大军翻越长城，入侵了中国的北境。
The Hun army climbed over the Great Wall and invaded China’s northern border. 领袖单于站在高处，冷冷地说道：“准备进攻。”
Their leader, Shan Yu, stood high and said coldly, “Prepare to attack.” 皇宫里，大臣们慌忙报告边境危机。
In the Imperial Palace, officials rushed in to report the border crisis. 皇帝庄严地拿起卷轴：“全国召兵，每家出一名男子。”
The Emperor firmly declared, “One man from every family must serve in the army.” 战鼓敲响，士兵们带着征兵令走遍乡村。
War drums sounded as soldiers carried conscription scrolls through the villages. 花木兰的村庄也被军鼓惊醒。
Mulan’s peaceful village was awakened by the drums. 士兵宣读皇令：“花弧，上前领令！”
A soldier announced, “Fa Zhou! Step forward to receive your order!” 木兰的父亲缓缓站起，手拄着拐杖。
Mulan’s father slowly stood, leaning on his cane. 他的腿伤让他几乎站不稳，但他还是接过了兵符。
His injured leg trembled, but he still accepted the conscription token. 木兰震惊地看着父亲，眼里充满担忧。
Mulan watched in shock, her eyes full of worry. 回到家里，她质问父亲：“你不能去！你会死的！”
Back home, she cried, “You can’t go! You’ll die!” 花弧严肃而温柔：“我知道我的职责。”
Fa Zhou spoke softly but firmly: “I know my duty.” 木兰的手不由自主握紧衣角，她非常害怕失去父亲。
Mulan clenched her robe, terrified of losing him. 夜里，父亲跪在祖先牌位前祈祷。
That night, Fa Zhou knelt before the family ancestors to pray. 木兰躲在门外，看着他颤抖的肩膀。
Mulan watched from the doorway, seeing his shaking shoulders. 她意识到父亲已经年迈，再也无法上战场。
She realized her father was too old and weak to survive a battle. 风吹灭了烛火，木兰的心也随之揪紧。
The wind blew out the candle, tightening fear around Mulan’s heart. 她抬头望向夜空，脑海中只有一个念头：
She looked up at the night sky, and one thought filled her mind: “我必须做点什么。”
