Chapter Two: The First Day of School

Time passed, and Nemo had grown old enough to go to school.

That morning, Marlin woke up even earlier than Nemo, feeling nervous.

He warned Nemo again and again to be careful.

“Don’t swim too far. Don’t go near anything dangerous.”

Nemo nodded, but he was clearly getting annoyed.

They reached the reef, where other young fish were waiting for their teacher.

Their teacher was a friendly stingray named Mr. Ray.

Nemo excitedly greeted his new friends.

Marlin kept interrupting, explaining Nemo’s small fin to the teacher.

Nemo felt deeply embarrassed.

When the lesson started, Marlin was still hovering nearby.

Mr. Ray led the class toward the edge of the open ocean.

Marlin panicked and shouted, “Stop! It’s too dangerous!”

The students stared curiously at the vast, deep ocean.

Nemo finally couldn’t take it anymore.

“Dad, I’m not a baby anymore!”

To prove himself, he swam toward the open ocean.

Marlin chased after him in terror, calling Nemo’s name.

Just then, a diver’s boat appeared above them.

In the next moment, Nemo was taken by a human.
