Chapter Five: The Ocean Is Big

Marlin and Dory continued their journey through the vast ocean.

The water grew deeper and darker.

Marlin looked around nervously, worried about danger.

Dory swam happily and even hummed a tune.

Suddenly, a huge shadow passed over them.

It was a whale, swimming toward them with its mouth wide open.

Marlin panicked. “Swim away! It’s going to eat us!”

Dory said excitedly, “Wait! Maybe it just wants to talk!”

They were sucked into the whale’s mouth.

Inside the whale’s mouth, it was dark and loud.

Marlin thought it was the end.

Dory calmed down and listened carefully to the whale’s sounds.

“It’s talking!” Dory said happily.

Dory answered the whale in its own language.

The whale seemed to understand and slowly changed direction.

It carried Marlin and Dory to a safe place.

Marlin finally breathed a sigh of relief.

He looked at Dory and trusted her for the first time.

“Thank you, Dory,” Marlin said softly.

In the dangerous ocean, their friendship grew stronger.
