Chapter Six: Life in the Tank

When Nemo woke up, he found himself in a strange glass world.

Transparent walls surrounded him, and a giant little girl stood outside.

She shouted happily, “I found a fish!”

Nemo was placed into a fish tank inside a dentist’s office.

Many different fish lived in the tank.

Their leader was a clever fish named Gill.

Gill looked at Nemo and asked, “Where are you from?”

Nemo said proudly, “I’m from the ocean!”

Gill told Nemo that all the fish here shared one goal.

“To escape and return to the ocean.”

Nemo felt both excited and scared.

But Gill warned him, “Escaping is dangerous.”

Just then, the little girl Darla came close to the tank.

She tapped the glass, laughing loudly.

All the fish in the tank were terrified.

Gill whispered, “She’s the killer.”

Nemo stared at Darla nervously, his heart pounding.

For the first time, he realized this place was not safe.

But he secretly decided to find a way home.

Inside the tank, Nemo began learning what true courage meant.
