Chapter Eight: Learning to Trust

Marlin and Dory continued searching for Nemo, and the journey grew more dangerous.

They met a group of sea turtles riding a powerful ocean current.

The turtle leader was named Crush, relaxed and optimistic.

Crush told Marlin, “Just relax and go with the current.”

At first, Marlin was very afraid and couldn’t let go.

Dory happily rolled along in the current.

In the current, Marlin learned to let go for the first time.

He realized that trust can be more important than control.

Meanwhile, Nemo prepared for the final escape in the tank.

Gill told him this was their only chance.

Nemo knew that if he failed, he might never return to the ocean.

Although he was scared, Nemo did not back down.

During the escape, Nemo got stuck in the filter tube.

The tank friends all held their breath.

Nemo followed the plan and played dead.

The dentist put him into a bag, ready to throw him away.

Nemo was carried outside near the trash bin.

He finally saw the real ocean.

Nemo knew he was getting closer to home.

Both father and son were learning to trust and grow.
