Chapter Six: The Forgotten One Miguel collapsed to the ground, his mind in chaos. He finally understood that Ernesto de la Cruz was not a hero. True music came from a hidden truth. Héctor survived the fall, though badly hurt. Weakly, he told Miguel a secret. It turned out that Héctor was the true composer of the songs. Ernesto stole his music to become famous. He even poisoned Héctor, trapping him forever in the Land of the Dead. Miguel was shocked and angry, tears streaming down. Héctor was not worried about himself. He feared being forgotten completely. Because in the living world, no one remembered him anymore. Once forgotten, a spirit would disappear forever. Miguel finally realized that Héctor was his great-great-grandfather. He hugged Héctor tightly and promised to help him return home. But time was running out. Before sunrise, Miguel had to return to the living world. Otherwise, he would remain among the dead. Miguel made up his mind to reveal the truth. Because the forgotten ones are the ones who need to be remembered most.
