Chapter Two: Fire and the Unknown

夜晚降临，洞穴外一片漆黑。

Night fell, and the world outside the cave became dark.

艾珀又一次偷偷溜出了洞穴。

Eep once again sneaked out of the cave.

她看到远处有一道奇怪的光。

She saw a strange light in the distance.

那是一团跳动的火焰。

It was a dancing flame.

艾珀从来没有见过火。

Eep had never seen fire before.

她小心地靠近。

She moved closer carefully.

这时，一个陌生的年轻人出现了。

Suddenly, a strange young man appeared.

他的名字叫盖。

His name was Guy.

盖用火来照亮黑夜。

Guy used fire to light up the darkness.

艾珀被这光明深深吸引。

Eep was deeply fascinated by the light.

盖告诉她，世界正在发生巨大的变化。

Guy told her that the world was changing.

他说，旧的地方很快就会毁灭。

He said the old places would soon be destroyed.

只有向前，才能活下去。

Only by moving forward could they survive.

Eep felt both scared and excited.

At that moment, Grug found them.

He angrily pulled Eep away.
