Chapter Six: A Father’s Fear

格鲁格看着这个新世界，心里充满不安。

Grug looked at the new world with fear in his heart.

他觉得每一样新东西都很危险。

He thought every new thing was dangerous.

盖的想法让他更加紧张。

Guy’s ideas made him even more nervous.

盖相信未来。

Guy believed in the future.

格鲁格却只相信过去。

But Grug only believed in the past.

他们为了艾珀发生了争吵。

They argued over Eep.

艾珀想跟着盖向前走。

Eep wanted to move forward with Guy.

格鲁格却想保护她。

Grug wanted to protect her.

但他的保护，变成了控制。

But his protection turned into control.

艾珀感到被束缚。

Eep felt trapped.

她开始远离父亲。

She began to pull away from him.

格鲁格的心很痛。

Grug’s heart hurt.

但他不知道该怎么改变。

But he did not know how to change.

这个家庭，正处在裂痕之中。

The family was breaking apart.

And the world was still falling apart.

They had to learn a new way.

Otherwise, they could not survive.

Fear was challenging love.

Change was knocking at the door.
